Unbeknownst to humans, all Cats belong to an ancient, sacred order sworn to protect our world from the invading hordes of Pestilence, a Harbinger of the Apocalypse. You may see your furry familiars as apathetic and illogical, but these noble defenders perceive an eternal conflict just outside of human awareness. In order to keep the Realm of Domexus safe, the Apocalypse Cats must remain vigilant, using their instinctive abilities to pursue and exterminate the Pestilent Bosses through a variety of locations, avoiding hazards and combating armies of minions along the way.
Apocalypse Cats is a cooperative boss fight card game with light euro/tableau-building elements, where 1-6 players pick their favorite playable cats for an epic hunt. Each cat has a standalone deck filled with charming and comical artwork that expresses their unique combat style and personality. Cat decks synergize with each other, bringing a variety of potential strategies and opportunities for kitty collaboration into every different team combination. Resourceful Scheme cards and a token marketplace allows Cats to upgrade their cards and develop clever approaches to each scenario.
